Lona Manning is the author of A Contrary Wind, a variation on Mansfield Park and its sequel, A Marriage of Attraction. She has worked as a non-profit administrator, a vocational instructor, a market researcher, and a speechwriter for politicians. She currently teaches English as a Second Language.
